A healthy diet is important to all of life’s daily activities and overall health. A balanced diet will enable children to develop normally and assist in learning abilities at school. In the case of the elderly and the disabled a healthy balanced diet will increase their quality of life.
Food items available in the food pantry are currently donated by area churches and organizations or purchased from funds generated from sales in the thrift shop. The CFC food pantry consists of canned and boxed non perishable goods. As our budget allows items such as personal hygiene, diabetic low sugar items, baby food and diapers may be available. There are even times when a local hatchery provides fresh eggs.
